Announcements of Adjustment to Default Margin Mode for Smart Copy Trading
Dear Users,
To further optimize the Smart Copy Trading feature, enhance user experience, and reduce trading risks, SAFEX will adjust the default margin mode for Smart Copy Trading effective 00:00:00 (UTC+8) on July 1, 2025 (Tuesday).
🔄 Update Details
Applicable to App version 4.12 and above
Old Default: Cross Margin
New Default: Follow Trader’s Margin Mode
👤 For Existing Smart Copy Trading Users
Starting July 1, all new positions will use "Follow Trader’s Margin Mode" by default.
Existing positions will remain unchanged and continue with the original margin mode.
To change the margin mode for an existing position: Go to "My Copy Trades" → "Copy Settings" to switch manually.
🆕 For New Users Starting Smart Copy Trading
The system will automatically use "Follow Trader’s Margin Mode" by default.
You can still manually switch to "Custom Mode" in settings, where you may choose:
Cross Margin, or
Isolated Margin for your copy trades.
⚙️ Prefer to Continue Using Cross Margin?
Go to "My Copy Trades" → "Copy Settings"
Select "Custom Copy Trading"
Then switch to "Cross Margin"
